Bermuda is a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Located off the east coast of the United States, it is situated around 1100 miles northeast of Miami, Florida and 840 miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. Bermuda is the oldest remaining British overseas territory, settled by England a century before the Acts of Union that created Britain.
Bermuda Cruise travellers can look forward to 21 miles of pure paradise with some of the best beaches, botanical gardens and water sorts anywhere in the world. Bermuda boasts a milder climate than the islands of the Caribbean, located 1,200 miles to the north, and as a result is a highly popular destination with British cruise passengers, or at least those courageous enough to brave the triangle.
The island's crystal clear turquoise waters and legendary pink sands have made it famous the world over as one of the most beautiful and relaxing tropical destinations in the world, with activities to keep the whole family entertained. In addition to a host of opportunities for water sports, including fishing, snorkeling, boating, and even swimming with the dolphins, Bermuda has some spectacular botanical gardens and the most golf courses per square mile than anywhere else on earth.
